Abstract:

[Problem] Provided are a belt-shaped fabric for a hose, and a hose, with which the workability during production of the hose can be improved. [Solution] When the outer periphery of an inner tube rubber 12 is covered by winding a belt-shaped fabric 14 thereupon in a helical shape, and the outside thereof is covered with a wire 16 and a rubber 18, at least a portion of the fibers forming the belt-shaped fabric 14 are covered with a rubber cement 24, thereby making it difficult for the weave to shift even when the outer periphery of the inner tube rubber 12 is covered by winding the belt-shaped fabric 14 in a helical shape. Furthermore, when the fibers of the belt-shaped fabric are impregnated with a dip liquid, the dip liquid is not easily exposed to oxygen in the air, so deterioration of the dip liquid is suppressed.
