Abstract:
This bearing seal is provided with: a seal body section (27); an elastically deformable waist section (29); a first lip (31) which protrudes inward in the axial direction from an inner-diameter edge of the waist section (29) and which, accompanied by a fastening margin C for tightly fastening inward in the axial direction, contacts an axial end of an inner race (22); and a second lip (32) protruding outward in the axial direction from the inner-diameter edge of the waist section (29), wherein the center of gravity F of a portion which, in a free state without the fastening margin C, includes the waist section, the first lip, and the second lip is located axially inward of the rotation center X of the portion, and the axial distance A from the rotation center X to the center of gravity F falls within a range that exceeds 0 and is less than the fastening margin C.
