Abstract:
To enable a reception-side device for detection information to detect an abnormality in the detection information in a speedier manner. To achieve the above, a physical quantity pertaining to a bearing body (5) is detected by a detection sensor (14) provided to the bearing body (5), and the information detected by the detection sensor (14) is transmitted using wireless communication by a wireless transmission unit (15) provided to the bearing body (5). If the detection information is less than a threshold value and is a normal value, the detection information is transmitted at a first transmission interval, and if the detection information is equal to or greater than the threshold value and is not a normal value, the detection information is transmitted at a second transmission interval which is shorter than the first transmission interval. In the reception-side device for detection information, the detection information is received at a shorter period when the detection information is not a normal value than when the detection information is a normal value. This makes it possible to ascertain the conditions of change in the detection information in greater detail, and to detect and address an abnormality in the detection information at an earlier stage.
