Abstract:
This bearing device (1) comprises: a housing (3) which accommodates a spindle (4) therein; a bearing (5a) which has an inner ring (5ia) and an outer ring (5ga) and rotatably supports the spindle (4) with respect to the housing (3); a pressing cap (10) fitted to the inner diameter surface of the housing (3) while making contact with an axial end surface of the housing (3) and an axial end surface of the outer ring (5ga); and a communication module (140) which is disposed in a region facing the pressing cap (10) with the bearing (5a) therebetween and performs wireless communication using electromagnetic waves. A non-metallic layer (10a) made of a ceramic, which is a non-metallic material, is provided to a housing (3)-contacting portion of the pressing cap (10).
