Abstract:

A bearing device (9) is provided with: a rolling bearing (4) formed by arranging rolling bodies (3) between an inner ring (1) and an outer ring (2); and a stationary plate (5) having a circular hole section (10) fitted to the outer peripheral surface of the outer ring (2) of the rolling bearing (4) in order to affix the rolling bearing (4) to a housing. An engagement groove (8) is formed in an axial outer peripheral section of the outer ring (2), cutout sections (11) are provided in the inner peripheral section of the stationary plate (5), and an engagement protrusion (6) is formed at each of the cutout sections, the engagement protrusions (6) protruding radially inward and engaging with the engagement groove (8). The inner diameter-side front ends (13) of the engagement protrusions (6) are circumferentially recessed.
