Abstract:

An outer ring (11) comprises: an outer ring small-diameter section (11b) extending to one axial side relative to an outer ring raceway surface (11a); a radial wall section (11c) extending to the inner diameter side from an axial end of the outer ring small-diameter section (11b); and a turned-back section (11d) extending to the other axial side from the radially inner end of the radial wall section (11c) and radially overlapping the inner peripheral surface of an inner ring small-diameter section (12b) with radial gaps (C1, C2) therebetween. The radial gap (C1) at an inner diameter-side inlet, which is formed between an axial end of the turned-back section (11d) and the inner peripheral surface of the inner ring small-diameter section (12b), is smaller than the radial gap (C2) at an inner diameter-side outlet, which is formed between an axial end of the inner ring small-diameter section (12b) and the outer peripheral surface of the turned-back section (11d). As a result, the amount and flow of lubricating oil supplied to a bearing for a clutch is regulated to reduce the stirring resistance of the lubricating oil, thereby reducing torque.
