Description:
DESCRIPTION

BEAD BREAKING SYSTEM

FIELD OF ART

The invention refers to the technical field of human needs and more specifically to the field of clothing and even more specifically to the field of clothing and accessories. More specifically, it refers to the field of clothing details or their construction. It specifically refers to a bead breaking system.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The bead breaking system disclosed in the present invention has not been disclosed in the prior art.

Fabrics that have beads for their decoration are sold in large bolts, already decorated with the corresponding beads. In general, almost 90% of evening and wedding dresses are created from fabrics that have pearls, sequins, fake diamonds, beads or similar decorations. When one chooses a fabric to sew a garment, he buys the necessary measures of fabric and after the necessary measurement is made, the relevant pattern is applied to the fabric so that the tailor can take the relevant print on the fabric. To this day, however, in order to be able to sew the respective garment and to be able to pass the needle through the fabric with the beads, it is mandatory to reduce their size, by breaking the beads. Because the beads are usually large in size they do not allow the needle to penetrate them and therefore it is necessary to break and fragment them to obtain a size capable of being penetrated by a needle. This process is done manually, by using a hammer, with which the tailor breaks and fragments the beads to the appropriate size. This specific process is particularly time-consuming, often reaching 4 hours for each dress, but also tiring, since the number of beads is often quite large. Furthermore, given that it is a manual work, there cannot be uniformity in the final result. Therefore, some beads are larger and others smaller, depending on the force applied by the user.

It is thus an object of the present invention to advantageously address the aforementioned disadvantages and shortcomings of the prior art by proposing a bead breaking system.

It is a further object of the present invention to provide a bead breaking system having two different bead breaking points of different dimensions.

A further advantage of the invention is that it achieves a significant reduction in the time required for garment processing and bead breaking.

It is a further object of the present invention to provide a bead breaking system which inter alia guides the fabric through a double roll arrangement to break the bead.

A further object of the invention is to provide a system for breaking and fragmenting the beads, which can have an adjustable height, so that the thickness of the beads resulting from the fragmenting can also be varied.

These and other objects, features and advantages of the invention will become apparent in the following detailed description. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

The invention will become apparent to those skilled in the art by reference to the accompanying drawings in which it is illustrated in a non-limiting manner.

Figure I shows a front view of the bead breaking system of the present invention.

Figure 2 shows a perspective view of the front side of the bead breaking system of the invention.

Figure 3 is a perspective view of the rear side of the bead breaking system of the invention, with its dual roller arrangement.

Figure 4 shows a top view of the bead breaking system of the invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Referring now to the accompanying drawings we will describe exemplary embodiments of the bead breaking system.

The system of the invention consists of a base (1), Fig. 1, on which its functional elements are placed. The base (1) is required to be at the appropriate height for users to use it unhindered. The system consists of a central, T-shaped fixed pillar (2), at one end of which is suspended an electric motor (3), Fig. 3. The motor (3) rotates a disc with a protrusion (4), Fig. 2. At the other end of the central fixed pillar (2) there is a suspended shaft (5) with a spring (6), which ends in a hammer (7). The shaft (5) with the spring (6) acts as an oscillation damper. An arm (8) is centrally supported on the central fixed pillar (2), the front end of which is connected to the hammer (7). The rear end of said arm (8) rests against the protrusion of the rotating disc (4). During the operation of the system, the motor (3) is adjusted and rotates at high, preferably, speeds, transmitting its rotational movement to the disc with the protrusion (4). The arm (8), since it rests at a single point on the central fixed pillar (2), receiving the impacts from the projection of the disk (4) on its rear side, lifts the front side and with it the connected hammer (7). The shaft (5) with the spring (6) creates a counterbalancing force, returning the hammer (7) to its original position, as a result of which a continuous movement perpendicular to the ground is created, which contributes to the breaking of the beads and their fragmentation. At the point of impact of the hammer (7) on the base

(I) there is a sheet of metal (9), which is preferably undercoated with polytetrafluoroethylene, so as to facilitate the rolling of the fabric when the bead is broken.

Further, the bead breaking system of the present invention has a set of double rollers (10), (11), wherein the upper roller (11) is rotated by a second electric motor (12), Fig. 4. The particular set of rollers (10), (11) can break beads which are about 2 centimeters thick and which cannot be broken by the hammer (7). The set of rollers (10),

(I I) allows the fabric to flow smoothly when breaking the beads.

Note at this point that the description of the invention was carried out with reference to illustrative embodiment examples, not limited thereto. Therefore, any change or modification in anything related to the construction, dimensions, materials used and construction and assembly components, as long as they do not constitute a new inventive step and do not contribute to the technical development of what is already known, are considered included in the purposes and goals of the present invention.
