Abstract:
The present application provides a battery pack, comprising: a box body (1), a plurality of battery modules (2), a cooling plate (3), and a buffer component (4), wherein the battery modules (2) comprise a plurality of battery cells (21) and a plurality of busbars (22); each battery cell (21) comprises an electrode assembly (211) and a battery housing (212); the battery cells (21) are horizontally placed, i.e., the battery cells are flat when the electrode assembly (211) is of a winding type structure; an outer surface of the electrode assembly (211) comprises two flat surfaces (2110), and the two flat surfaces (2110) face each other in a vertical direction; when the electrode assembly (211) is of a laminated structure, a first pole piece (2111), a diaphragm (2113), and a second pole piece (2112) are laminated in the vertical direction. Therefore, the maximum expansion force generated by the electrode assembly (211) of the battery cell (21) during charging and discharging is in the vertical direction. Due to the fact that the cooling plate (3) is located on one side of the battery module (2) in the vertical direction, and the buffer component (4) is arranged between the cooling plate (3) and the box body (1), the battery cells (21) can be used for exerting the maximum expansion force on the buffer component (4) so that the buffer component (4) can be tightly attached to the cooling plate (3) and the box body (1) at the same time, thereby increasing the heat dissipation area, and improving the heat dissipation effect of the cooling plate (3).
