Abstract:
The present invention addresses the issue of improving the water resistance of a battery pack. This battery pack has an outer case, a battery housed in the outer case, and a water-proofing member. The outer case has: a first case half and a second case half; and a plurality of fastening sections that fasten the first case half and the second case half. The water-proofing member is disposed so as to be interposed between a first peripheral section in the first case half and a second peripheral section in the second case half. A protruding section that protrudes in the direction of engagement for the first case half and the second case half is formed between fastening sections, in at least either the first peripheral section or the second peripheral section. The amount of protrusion by the protruding section is greater in a location away from the fastening sections than in the vicinity of the fastening sections.
