Abstract:
A battery module according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a battery cell stack in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked; a module frame housing the battery cell stack and having open front and rear surfaces facing each other; end plates covering each of the front and rear surfaces of the module frame; and insulating members interposed between the battery cell stack and the end plates, wherein the module frame comprises first bonding surfaces formed on the sides constituting each of the front and rear surfaces, the end plates each comprise a second bonding surfaces bonded to the first bonding surfaces, and the insulating members each comprise a rib extending in a direction in which the battery cell stack is positioned.
