A battery fast-charging device and method according to one embodiment of the present invention supply, to a battery, in addition to battery charging current acquired by considering only the temperature and real-time charging state of a conventional battery, compensation current acquired by considering current gain resulting from an initial charging state of a battery, and thus can reduce fast-charging time.
