Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide a battery and an electric device. The battery comprises: a battery cell, a first wall of the battery cell being provided with a first pressure release mechanism; a thermal management component, which is used for adjusting the temperature of the battery cell, the thermal management component being attached to a second wall of the battery cell, the second wall being different from the first wall, and the area of the second wall being greater than or equal to the area of the first wall; a discharge path, which is configured as establishing communication with the inside of the battery cell by means of the first pressure release mechanism when the first pressure release mechanism is actuated, so as to cause discharged material of the battery cell to be discharged to the discharge path. The battery and the electric device provided by embodiments of the present application can improve the safety of batteries.
