Abstract:
Provided in the embodiments of the present application are a battery cell, a battery, an electric device, and a method for covering the battery cell with an insulating film. The battery cell comprises: an electrode assembly; a casing, which has an opening and is configured to accommodate the electrode assembly, wherein a first wall of the casing is provided with a pressure relief mechanism; an end cap, which is configured to fit with the opening in a covering manner; and an insulating film, which at least covers the first wall, wherein the insulating film is provided with a weak region corresponding to the pressure relief mechanism. The insulating film is provided with the weak region corresponding to the pressure relief mechanism, and the toughness of the weak region is low, so that the effect of the insulating film on the braking of the pressure relief mechanism can be reduced, thereby improving the safety of the battery cell.
