Abstract:
The purpose of this invention is to reduce contact, made by a distal end part of a band part after cutting in a band tool, on a location such as a part of the body of an operator. A band tool 100 is provided with: a band part 10 in which a plurality of protrusions 12 are formed on one main surface 10S; an insertion part 32 to which a proximal end part 104 of the band part 10 is joined, and in which a through-hole 32H is formed through which a distal end part 102 of the band part 10 can be inserted; an extended part 34 extending from a part of the insertion part 32 that runs in a circumferential direction and constitutes the outlet of the through-hole 32H, the extended part 34 extending in the same direction in which the through-hole 32H extends; and an interlocking part 40 that is provided to the inner side of the insertion part 32, and that secures the band part so as to not fall out by being interlocked with the plurality of protrusions 12 in the band part 10. When an excess portion 10a of the band part 10, pulled out from an opening 34P in the extended part 34, is cut away, the distal end part 102a of the band part 10 is accommodated on the inner side of a concave groove formed by the extended part 34.
