Abstract:
This ball screw device comprises a nut, a screw shaft, balls, and a coolant flow passage. The nut includes: a nut body that has a recessed groove provided to a first end surface of an axial end part thereof; a seal member that is fitted into the recessed groove; and an annular cap that seals the recessed groove. The coolant flow passage includes a plurality of axial flow passages, and a circumferential flow passage that extends in the circumferential direction. The circumferential flow passage is formed by sealing the recessed groove of the nut body with the cap. The seal member includes an annular frame body, and a reinforcement part that connects the two long sides of the frame body together, as viewed from the axial direction. The seal member extends in an arc shape along the recessed groove.
