Abstract:
[Problem] To achieve a ball screw device capable of transmitting an axial load between a screw portion and a clamping member without decreasing the life of the ball screw device. [Solution] In a screw shaft 2, a fitting shaft portion 10 is provided adjacent, on one side in the axial direction, to a screw portion 9, which is provided with a shaft-side ball screw groove 12 on the outer peripheral surface and has a smaller outer diameter than that of the screw portion 9. A stopper 5 is externally fitted on the fitting shaft portion 10 so as to inhibit relative rotation therebetween. A drive member 6 serving as the clamping member is disposed adjacent to the stopper 5 on the one side in the axial direction, and the stopper 5 is clamped in the axial direction between the drive member 6 and the screw portion 9. The axial load is transmitted between the drive member 6 and the screw portion 9 without causing the moment to act on the stopper 5.
