Abstract:
An axle device (10) is provided with a housing (3), a first axle shaft (1), a planetary gear mechanism (4), a second axle shaft (2), a first bearing member (5), and a regulating member (6). A carrier (43) of the planetary gear mechanism (4) has a through-hole (432) including a first spline section (433). A shaft body section (21) of the second axle shaft (2) has a second spline section (24) engaged with the first spline section (433). A recess (25) is formed in the second spline section (24). The first bearing member (5) is supported by the housing (3). The first bearing member (5) rotatably supports the second axle shaft (2). The regulating member (6) is disposed in the recess (25). The regulating member (6) protrudes radially outward from the recess (25).
