Abstract:
The present invention relates to an automatic washing apparatus and an automatic washing method for automatically and continuously washing lenses and plastic molds for manufacturing optical lenses. The automatic washing method of the present invention comprises: a chemical washing step of placing molds or lenses in holders, and then spraying a chemical thereat at a predetermined pressure or more while rotating same at a high speed; a water washing step of placing, in holders, the molds or the lenses having passed through the chemical washing step, and then spraying water thereat at a predetermined pressure or more while rotating same at a high speed; and a step of placing, in holders, the molds or the lenses having passed through the water washing step, rinsing same with pure water, and then carrying out no-load rotation. According to the present invention, lenses and molds can be effectively washed even while using a minimal amount of water and washing solution.
