Abstract:
An automatic transmission, comprising a housing (19), an input shaft (1) and an output shaft (17) of which the axes coincide with each other, a central sun gear (16) sleeved on the output shaft (17), as well as a front-row planetary gear mechanism, a middle-row planetary gear mechanism, and a rear-row planetary gear mechanism sleeved on the central sun gear (16). The input shaft (1) and the output shaft (17) are mounted on the housing (19) by means of first bearings (18), respectively. The front-row planetary gear mechanism is connected to the input shaft (1), the middle-row planetary gear mechanism is connected to the front-row planetary gear mechanism by means of a first clutch (5), and the rear-row planetary gear mechanism is connected to the output shaft (17) by means of a second clutch (15). The automatic transmission can achieve output of different gear ratios from the input shaft (1) to the output shaft (17), has a simple and reasonable structure, compact components and high transmission efficiency, and also achieves output of different reduction ratios.
