Abstract:
An automatic transmission having: an input shaft arranged on a first shaft (AX1) and drivably coupled with a drive source; a transmission mechanism (90) provided between the first shaft (AX1) and a second shaft (AX2), the transmission mechanism (90) transmitting the rotation of the first shaft (AX1) to the second shaft (AX2); a primary pulley (41) arranged on the second shaft (AX2); a secondary pulley (42) arranged on a third shaft (AX3); and a belt (43) wound over both of the pulleys (41, 42). The automatic transmission is provided with a continuously variable transmission (40) of which the transmission ratio can be continuously varied, and an output shaft arranged on a fourth shaft (AX4), the output shaft outputting speed-varied rotation. With a first straight line (L1) that connects the center of the first shaft (AX1) and the center of the fourth shaft (AX4) being used as a boundary as seen from the axial direction, the center of the second shaft (AX2) is arranged on one side and the center of the third shaft (AX3) is arranged on the other side.
