Abstract:
This automatic transmission is provided with a park rod which can lock the output shaft of the automatic transmission so as to disable rotation, an actuator which drives the park rod, and an ATCU which drives the actuator when the set range of the automatic transmission is set to the P range. In a state in which the acceleration pedal has been depressed on an uphill road and the vehicle is stopped due to a balance between the drive force and the slope resistance, even if the shifter is operated to the P range, the ATCU does not set the set range of the automatic transmission to the P range.
