Abstract:
This automatic transmission control device starts to increase the engagement pressure of a setting-off engagement element when a turbine rotational speed (Nt) reaches or exceeds a determination threshold (X1) at which it is determined that the turbine rotational speed (Nt) has reduced, wherein when a selection operation from a non-traveling range to a traveling range is performed before a prescribed period of time (T1) from starting of the engine has elapsed, the determination threshold (X1) is increased compared to when such operation is made after the prescribed period of time (T1) has elapsed. Therefore, variations in torque that occur in conjunction with engagement of a second brake (B2), which is a setting-off engagement element, can be suppressed by accurately determining reduction in the turbine rotational speed (Nt).
