Abstract:
An automatic transmission control device that controls an automatic transmission having frictional engagement elements with which the transmission torque can be change continuously, and that is equipped with: a first thermal load estimation unit that estimates the thermal load state of the frictional engagement elements on the basis of an indicated value for the transmission torque; and an estimation stopping unit that stops the estimation of the thermal load state on the basis of the deviation between the indicated value for the transmission torque and the actual value for the transmission torque actually being transmitted by the frictional engagement elements.
