Abstract:
The present invention relates to a condensate drain valve which is connected to a condensate discharge pipe of an air compression apparatus, and discharges condensate produced inside the air compression apparatus to the outside along with compressed air. The condensate drain valve comprises: a main body which has an accommodating space formed therein and has an inlet formed on one side thereof and an outlet formed on the other side thereof; an opening/closing member which is rotatably installed inside the main body, has an inlet opening corresponding to the inlet formed on one side thereof, and an outlet opening corresponding to the outlet formed on the other side thereof, and has formed therein a communication path communicating between the inlet opening and the outlet opening; a rotational force providing means which has one end of a rotary shaft coupled to one side of the opening/closing member and provides a rotational force to the opening/closing member; and a control means for controlling operation of the rotational force providing means. According to the present invention, an automatic condensate drain valve, which enables continuous automatic drainage of the condensate produced inside the air compression apparatus while the air compression apparatus is running, can be manufactured in a compact structure, and thus, it is possible not only to manufacture the device more conveniently, but also to significantly reduce manufacturing costs incurred thereby.
