Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of easily providing an aqueous dispersion of biodegradable polymer resin particles having excellent dispersion stability in water, a small particle size, and a narrow particle size distribution. Provided is a method for efficiently producing such an aqueous dispersion of biodegradable polymer resin particles. Biodegradable polymer resin particles having a small particle size and a narrow particle size distribution are easily provided. An aqueous dispersion of polybutylene succinate adipate resin particles according to an embodiment of the present invention is an aqueous dispersion in which polybutylene succinate adipate resin particles are dispersed in water. The aqueous dispersion contains a water-soluble polymer. The polybutylene succinate adipate resin particles have a volume average particle size of 0.1-100.0 μm. The water-soluble polymer contains at least one selected from the group consisting of a partially saponified polyvinyl alcohol (A) having a degree of saponification of 60-87 mol%, an unsaturated modified polyvinyl alcohol (B), and a modified polyvinyl alcohol (C) having a polyoxyalkylene structure.
