1 . APPARATUS TO FORTIFY KNEES AND LEGS, characterized by two parallel L-shaped bars (1 ), linked by a plate (2) in its vertical part and with a non-slip plate (3) in its horizontal part, the horizontal parts of the L-shaped bars (1 ) have groovepositions (5) to put a bulkhead (4) to the feet and washers (6) to anchor the apparatus on the floor, the model has a constructive variation, changing the L- shaped bars (1 ) for T-shaped bars (7) in reverse position.

Description:
APPARATUS TO FORTIFY KNEES AND LEGS

[001] The present patent application is about the human necessities field, specifically the technical field related to the apparatus for physiotherapy practices and muscular fortify of the knees and legs.

[002] To present the art’s state a search has been made at the WIPO databases (PATENTSCOPE), with a specific word combination (keywords) including the terms “ball and back and knees and floor and hurt” that are necessary in any document whose is related with the present patent filing, according to the applicant, because there are body parts used during the practice (back, legs, knees), the exercise needs a place and specific material (ball and floor) and the exercise intend to avoid injury ( hurt ), actually the applicant is not a professional specialist in patent searches, so in the searches carried out in the listed documents, unless further judgment, they have not been found to compromise the present claims in this patent application.

[003] The technical problem to solve may be describe in this way, the great difficult to do the exercise to fortify knees and legs by a practice supporting a ball between the back and the wall, like is presented in a first position in the figure 1 .

[004] Starting by the position presented at the Figure 1 , the practitioner needs flex the knees until 90 s angle with the ball in his back, against the wall, without leaving it falls, like is presented at the Figure 2, after this movement the practitioner needs return to the first position present at the Figures 1 and 3, notice that only the attrition between the shoe’s sole and the floor is sustaining the practitioner during the movement’s practice.

[005] During the movement’s practice, a problem shows, if the practitioner’s feet loses the attrition that are sustaining him, slipping, the practitioner falls down on the floor, perhaps injuring himself in the hips, backs or spine, like presented at the Figure 4.

[006] There’s not necessary saying that this fall possibility creates some fear for the practitioner whatever this age making difficult the exercise’s practice and even making it impossible to the old age practitioners, because the aforesaid reasons. [007] The present patent filling intends offer a solution for this problem, allowing any practitioner, whatever their physical conditions or age, to do the practice of the exercise aforesaid.

[008] The novelty consists an apparatus done specifically to do the exercise, liberating the wall’s necessity and offering security to the practitioner for do the aforesaid exercise.

Brief description of the drawings

[009] It will be present the figures listed below:

The Figure 1 shows a practitioner in this position at the beginning of the exercise, supported on a wall.

The Figure 2 presents a practitioner in its intermediate position flexing the knees until 90 s angle.

The Figure 3 presents a practitioner back to the position at the beginning of the exercise.

The Figure 4 presents a practitioner siting on the floor, after a fall, in case the attrition between his shoes and the floor wouldn’t be enough to support on the positions presented at the Figures 1 and 2 and 3.

The Figure 5 presents the complete “APPARATUS TO FORTIFY KNEES AND LEGS”.

The Figure 6 presents the bulkhead (4).

The Figure 7 presents a practitioner at the beginning exercise position’s, using the “APPARATUS TO FORTIFY KNEES AND LEGS”.

The Figure 8 presents a practitioner using the apparatus, notice the practitioner is at the intermediate position.

The Figure 9 presents a practitioner at the exercise end’s position (this position is like the beginning exercise’s position).

The Figure 10 presents an apparatus variation. The Figure 11 presents an apparatus variation allowing 2 practitioners using simultaneous.

The Figure 12 presents the apparatus with the bulkhead (4) at the groove-position (5) for a taller practitioner.

The Figure 13 presents an apparatus with the bulkhead (4) at the groove-position (5) for a little person.

Invention’s describe

[0010] The proposed apparatus in this patent filing is built with two parallel L-shaped bars (1 ), composed buy resistant material, enough to support the effort during the exercise practice aforesaid and enough separated for the practitioner may be stay between the bars, like is presented at the Figure 7.

[0011] The L-shaped bars (1 ) are linked in its vertical part with a plate (2) that allows the practitioner supports the ball in his back, against it, in this way there’s not necessary a wall to support the ball, the plate (2) shall be composed by resistant material enough to support the effort without changes and able to support the L-shaped bars (1 ) in its original position, like is presented at the Figure 5.

[0012] The L-shaped bars (1 ) are linked in its horizontal part with a non-slip plate (3) to support the practitioner’s feet, the non-slip plate (3) shall be composed by resistant material enough to support the practitioner’s weight and at the same time rough enough to increase the feet or shoe’s attrition, like is presented at the Figure 5.

[0013] In addition to the non-slip plate (3), the L-shaped bars (1) also allows the practitioner set a bulkhead (4) to the feet, it prevents the practitioner falls losing the feet’s attrition with the non-slip plate (3), this bulkhead (4) shall be composed by resistant material enough to support the effort without changes, with compatible shape and thickness, like is presented at the Figure 6, and it shall be put at the groove-position (5) that are at the L-shaped bars (1 ), in its horizontal part, the groove-positions (5) shall be spaced at enough intervals for regulate the bulkhead (4) according to the height of the practitioner, like is presented at the Figures 12 and 13. [0014] Like the [3], [4] and [5] paragraphs there is necessary a wall to the exercise’s practice; allowing the “APPARATUS TO FORTIFY KNEES AND LEGS” in outdoors like parks, courtyards, outdoor gyms, the L-shaped bars (1) in its horizontal part shall have washers (6) to anchor the apparatus on the floor with screws or pins, like is presented at the Figure 5.

[0015] The Figure 5 presents the “APPARATUS TO FORTIFY KNEES AND LEGS”.

[0016] Another built variation is presented at the Figure 10, notice the L-shaped bars (1 ) are changed for “T”-shaped bars (7) in reverse position, it allows two practitioners workouting at the same time.

[0017] The apparatus may be used like the Figures 7, 8, 9, 11 , 12 and 13 and the practitioner may adjust the bulkhead (4) at the groove-position (5) in the horizontal parts of the L-shaped (1) or T-shaped (7), according the practitioner’s stature.
