Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and method for generating a descriptor for a network slice, the apparatus comprising: a transceiver; a memory for storing one or more instructions; and at least one processor for executing the one or more instructions stored in the memory, wherein the at least one processor may obtain a requirement for the network slice, determine at least one of a plurality of network slice templates (NSTs), a plurality of network slice descriptors (NSLDs), and a plurality of network slice instances (NSIs), on the basis of the obtained requirement, when at least one of the plurality of NSTs is determined, determine at least one specific node for replacing a plurality of abstract nodes configuring at least one of the plurality of NSTs, on the basis of the obtained requirement, and generate the descriptor for the network slice, on the basis of the determined at least one specific node.
