Claims:
CLAIMS

1. A compound suitable for the treatment or prevention of duodenal (intestinal) ulcer, characterized by comprising; at least one fatty solvent, at least one herbal anti - inflammatory and at least one herbal regeneration accelerator.

2. The composition according to claim 1 , characterized by comprising; contains 80 % fatty solvent by weight, 10 % anti - inflammatory and 10 % regeneration accelerator with respect to the total weight.

3. The composition according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that; fatty solvent is olive oil, liquid Vaseline or liquid paraffin.

4. The composition according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that; herbal anti - inflammatory is black rose hip.

5. The composition according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that; herbal regeneration accelerator is salsify.

6. A method for the preparation of a composition suitable for use for the treatment or prevention of duodenal (intestinal) ulcer characterize by comprising of the following steps;

drying at least one herbal anti - inflammatory and at least one herbal regeneration accelerator at room temperature away from the sun;

grinding the completely dried herbal anti - inflammatory and at least one herbal regeneration accelerator into powder form in order to increase the surface area;

adding at least one fatty solvent to the powdered herbal mixture and mixing in a shaker for homogenization;

leaving the mixture from the shaker to rest;

centrifuging the rested mixture and taking the remaining phase at the top.

7. The method according to claim 6, wherein; the drying process takes 1 week.

8. The method according to claim 6, wherein; the process of mixing in the shaker takes 24 - 56 hours.

9. The method according to claim 8, wherein; the process of mixing in the shaker takes 36 hours. 10. The method according to claim 6, wherein; the mixture from the shaker is left to rest for 20 - 24 days.

11. The method according to claim 10, wherein; the mixture from the shaker is left to rest for 1 week.

12. The method according to claim 6, wherein; the rested mixture is centrifuged at

1200 rpm.

13. The method according to claim 6, wherein; the ratio of the added fatty solvent to the powdered herbal mixture is 8 : 1 by volume : weight.

14. The method according to claim 13, wherein; 80 ml of olive oil is added for each 10 ml herbal anti - inflammatory.

15. The method according to claim 13, wherein; 80 ml of olive oil is added for each 10 ml regeneration accelerator.

ANTIULCERATIVE COMPOSITIONS

Technical Field

The invention relates to a composition suitable for use for the treatment or prevention of duodenal (intestinal) ulcer.

State of the Art

An ulcer is the injury of the stomach or duodenum by fluids such as stomach acid and pepsin, resulting in tissue loss. In addition to the loss of tissue, lesions may also form due to the effect of pepsin. These lesions, called inflammation, are seen more frequently in duodenum than the stomach in our country. Ulcers are 3 times more common in men than in women. Ulcers, especially seen more commonly in the 30 - 50 age group, occur more commonly in women around 60 years of age. Ulcers that occur in the stomach are called gastric ulcers, ulcers that occur in the duodenal ulcer or bulbar ulcer. Their size may vary between 3 - 5 mm and 5 cm. Among these chronically relapsing sicknesses which are very common in the world, peptic ulcer is one type which is seen in the 8 % to 10 % of the world's adult population. Duodenal ulcer is 3 - 4 times more frequent than gastric ulcer, it is observed at younger ages and especially in male individuals, and unlike gastric ulcer, it is a symptomatic disease that does not follow silent. The most common cause for both is Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection and NSAIIs.

In the state of the art for the treatment of duodenal (intestinal) ulcer, proton pump inhibitor (PPI) drugs, healing drugs are commonly used. PPI - type active substances are the most powerful class of active substances in terms of secretion suppression. The most common PPIs used in the technique are active substances such as acetaminophen, Pantopazole, Lansopazole, and Rabeprozol.

Patent document no. EP0723437 B1 of the state of the art pharmaceutical formulations where acid degradeable H + k + ATPase inhibitors such as Rabeprozol which is a proton pump inhibitor and multiple tablet doses comprising alkaline salts thereof are described. Proton pump inhibitors are effective in suppressing gastric acid and have an unstable structure in the acid environment, and contact with the stomach contents, which are largely acidic, causes it to break down instantly, so problems are encountered in oral use.

Therefore, due to the shortcomings described above and due to the lack of existing solutions on the subject, a development in the relevant technical area is required.

Brief Description of the Invention The invention relates to a composition suitable for use for the treatment or prevention of duodenal (intestine) ulcer that meets the above - mentioned requirements, eliminates all disadvantages and brings some additional advantages.

The main purpose of the invention treatment of duodenal (intestinal) ulcer with a compound of vegetable origin that did not contain synthetic preparation.

Another purpose of the invention is to obtain a composition that does not have a negative effect on human health in the long term by not possessing features such as acid secretion or suppressing physiological reactions due to its plant content.

Another purpose of the invention is to obtain a composition that allows tissue regeneration through the regeneration accelerator it contains.

To accomplish all the objectives that will arise from the abovementioned and the following detailed explanation, the present invention relates to a composition suitable for use for duodenal (intestine) ulcer treatment and prevention and the mentioned composition comprises; at least one fatty solvent, at least one anti - inflammatory and at least one regeneration accelerator.

The structural and characteristic features and all advantages of the invention will be understood more clearly through the detailed explanation and therefore assessment should be made by considering the detailed explanation.

Detailed Description of the Invention

In this detailed description, the preferred structures of a composition suitable for use for the treatment or prevention of duodenal (intestine) ulcer are explained only for a better understanding of the subject and without imposing any limitations.

With the present invention, a compound suitable for the treatment or prevention of duodenal (intestinal) ulcer is developed, where this composition includes at least one fatty solvent, at least one herbal anti - inflammatory and at least one herbal regeneration accelerator. Tissue regeneration is improved thanks to the regeneration accelerator contained in the invention.

The fat solvent mentioned in a preferred embodiment of the invention is olive oil, liquid Vaseline or liquid paraffin. The above mentioned herbal anti - inflammatory is preferably black rosehip and the above mentioned herbal regeneration accelerator is preferably salsify. The composition developed in another alternative embodiment of the invention includes 80 % fat solvent, 10 % anti - inflammatory and 10 % regeneration accelerator by weight according to the total weight of the mixture.

With the present invention, a method is also being developed for the preparation of a composition suitable for use for the treatment or prevention of duodenal (intestinal) ulcer; the mentioned method comprises the steps of;

drying at least one herbal anti - inflammatory and at least one herbal regeneration accelerator at room temperature away from the sun, preferably for 1 week;

grinding the completely dried herbal anti - inflammatory and at least one herbal regeneration accelerator into powder form in order to increase the surface area; adding at least one fatty solvent to the powdered mixture;

and mixing in a shaker preferably for 24 - 56 hours (more preferably for 36 hours) to ensure homogenization;

Leaving the mixture from the shaker to rest preferably for 20 - 24 days (more preferably for 1 week) ;

Centrifuging the rested mixture preferably at 1200 rpm and taking the remaining phase at the top.

In the method developed in a preferred embodiment of the invention; the ratio of the added fatty solvent to the powdered herbal mixture is 8 : 1 by volume : weight. In an example embodiment, 80 ml olive oil is added for 10 g herbal anti - inflammatory, and 80 ml olive oil is added for 10 g herbal regeneration accelerator.

With the herbal composition without synthetic preparations developed with the present invention; treatment of duodenal (intestine) ulcer is provided without imposing any long term negative effects on human health by eliminating features such as suppressing acid secretion and physiological reactions. In addition, the regeneration accelerator comprised in the content of the composition provides a composition that allows tissue regeneration.
