Abstract:
The present invention relates to an antioxidant, a method for processing a steel material, and a rolled product manufactured by using the same method, the method comprising the steps of: preparing a steel material; preparing an antioxidant; applying the antioxidant to the surface of the steel material to form an anti-oxidation film while melting the antioxidant; and thermally treating the steel material having the anti-oxidation film formed thereon, whereby grain boundary oxidation on the surface of the steel material can be restrained, with the resultant reduction of surface defects in a final product.
