Abstract:
A nut capable of engaging with a bolt (10) having a male-threaded portion of external diameter d and core diameter d1, the nut having a structure in which an incompletely threaded female portion (22) having an internal diameter dimension D larger than (d+d1)/2 and smaller than d, is formed having a pitch of 1-3 on the end of the bolt insertion side of a female-threaded portion (21) formed on the nut body (20). Even when the bolt is screwed on at an angle, the structure allows the bolt to be rotated about the surface of contact with the incompletely threaded female portion (22), thereby avoiding seizing.
