Abstract:
Provided is an anchor bolt manufacturing method having good manufacturing efficiency. In the anchor bolt according to this manufacturing method a hole-widening member (8) is fitted to the exterior of a tapered member (7) on which are formed four slanted surfaces (11), which draw closer to the central axis of the tapered member (7) as they approach the base end thereof. The hole-widening member (8) is formed by integrally forming four contact sections (12), which form inner surfaces (14) making surface contact with the slanted surfaces (11) of the tapered member (7), and a bridging section (13), which connects the contact sections (12). This manufacturing method has: a casting step, wherein an intermediate product (19) (for which the gap (L1) between the free ends of the inner surfaces (14) of each contact section (12) is equal to or greater than the dimension (L2) at the tip of the tapered member (7)) is cast and then removed from the mold; an assembly step, wherein the tapered member (7) is inserted between the free ends of the contact sections (12) of the intermediate product (19) immediately after removal from the mold, thereby fitting the intermediate product (19) to the exterior of the tapered member (7); and a molding step, wherein the intermediate product (19), having been fitted to the exterior of the tapered member, is elastically deformed at a high temperature, thereby moving the contact sections (12) toward the tapered member (7).
