Abstract:
An analysis device being provided with: a mounting part having a substrate provided with a plurality of cells and a pressing member that presses an analysis chip; an item information read unit that reads item information of the analysis chip; a stain detection mechanism that stores stain-related information for each cell in a memory, said stain-related information having, in an associated manner, stain information related to the presence/absence of a stain for each cell and previous item information, which is item information of a mounted analysis chip; and a processor that performs carryover suppression processing before a to-be-mounted analysis chip which is to be mounted is mounted in a to-be-used cell, said carryover suppression processing being for suppressing a carryover, in which a stain from the previous measurement affects a present measurement and being performed on the basis of the stain-related information related to the to-be-used cell stored in the memory and present item information, which is acquired from the item information read unit and is item information of the to-be-mounted analysis chip.
