Abstract:
A lightweight aluminum-based composite gear ring (10) for a gear apparatus, which can not only greatly reduce the weight of the gear ring (10), thereby lightening the entire gear apparatus, but enable the gear apparatus to maintain high-precision rotary transmission operation, given that the specific rigidity of the aluminum-based composite material used is not less than 30 GPa/g/cm3, which is higher than that of existing metal.
