Title:
ALUMINA THERMAL-SPRAYED BEARING
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/054182
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a bearing which not only exhibits excellent adhesiveness between a bearing constituent member and a thermal-sprayed coating, but also suppresses damage to the bearing by electric corrosion. This bearing has a thermal-sprayed coating 6 disposed on a surface of a bearing constituent member 7 and a communication hole 8 communicating from an outer surface of the thermal-sprayed coating 6 to a surface of the bearing constituent member 7, wherein: the thermal-sprayed coating 6 is formed from a thermal-spray powder containing alumina particles as a main ingredient and metal oxide particles other than the alumina particles; the thermal-sprayed coating 6 has a porosity of less than 15%; and the communication hole 8 is a hole having an average hole diameter of less than 30 µm, the entirety or a portion of the communication hole 8 being sealed to the surface of the bearing constituent member 7 with a hole-sealing material 13 containing an epoxy group-containing component.
