Abstract:
Provided are an α-alumina support, an α-alumina-based catalyst, a preparation method therefor and an application thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) mixing a silicon-modified fiber material, hydrated alumina, a first auxiliary agent and a fluorine-containing inorganic salt to obtain a mixture, wherein the mass parts of each component is 1,000 parts of hydrated alumina, 1 to 3 parts of the first auxiliary agent, 15 to 35 parts of the silicon-modified fiber material and 10 to 30 parts of the fluorine-containing inorganic salt, the first auxiliary agent comprising a compound of at least one element in groups IIA, IVA, VIIA, IIB, IIIB and IVB of the periodic table; and (2) mixing and molding the mixture obtained in step (1), a binder and an extrusion aid, and obtaining the α-alumina support after drying and roasting, wherein the mass parts of the mixture, the binder and the extrusion aid are: 1000 parts of the mixture, 50 to 200 parts of the binder and 5 to 20 parts of the extrusion aid. The α-alumina support provided by the present application not only has high mechanical strength, but also has pore channels which are not easy to shrink and have low tortuosity.
