Abstract:
The present invention relates to an air foil bearing installation structure, in which a spacer is provided on a bent portion of a foil assembly, a latching piece having elasticity is formed on the spacer, and a stopper protrusion by which the latching piece is latched is formed on the inner wall of a slot formed in a housing. Therefore, the movement and separation of the foil assembly in the axial direction can be prevented without additionally installing a separate component for blocking an entrance of the slot.
