Abstract:
The purpose of the present disclosure is to provide an air cylinder device capable of synchronously moving two rods toward directions opposite to each other. The air cylinder device according to the present disclosure comprises a cylinder main body having a cylinder chamber, first and second pistons provided so as to be movable in the axial direction in the cylinder chamber, a first rod provided to the first piston and movably supported by the cylinder main body, and a second rod provided to the second piston and movably supported by the cylinder main body. The air cylinder device comprises a synchronization mechanism. The first and second pistons are configured to oppose each other in the axial direction. The first piston is configured so as to partition the cylinder chamber into a first chamber and a second chamber, and the second piston is configured so as to partition the cylinder chamber into the second chamber and a third chamber. The synchronization mechanism synchronizes the movements of the first and second pistons so that the first and second pistons approach each other or move away from each other.
