Abstract:
An absorbent material (58) of an air conditioner according to the present invention absorbs moisture in outdoor air. Channels (R1, R2) pass through the absorbent material (58), connect the inside of an indoor unit (20) to the outdoors, and have outdoor air flowing therein. A fan (first fan (66)) generates, in the channels (R1, R2), a flow of outdoor air toward the indoor unit (20). The air conditioner then actuates the fan (66) and executes a dehumidification operation in which desiccated outdoor air, the moisture thereof having been captured by the absorbent material (58), moves toward the indoor unit (20).
