Abstract:
An air bearing spindle and a machine tool. The air bearing spindle comprises: a machine body (1), provided with a spindle hole and an air flow passage; a spindle core (2), provided in the spindle hole in a penetrating manner, the spindle core (2) being provided with thrust flying discs (21); aerostatic bearings, including first aerostatic bearings (41), second aerostatic bearings (42) and thrust bearings (43), the first aerostatic bearings (41) and the second aerostatic bearings (42) being all provided in the spindle hole, the thrust bearings (43) matching the thrust flying discs (21), and the first aerostatic bearings (41), the second aerostatic bearings (42) and the thrust bearings (43) all having air inlet holes (44) in communication with the air flow passage; and aerodynamic bearings (3), provided in the spindle hole and located between the first aerostatic bearings (41) and the second aerostatic bearings (42).
