Abstract:

This aerial display device includes: a display element (20) that displays an image; an optical element (40) that is disposed so as to receive light from the display element (20), the optical element (40) forming an aerial image in the air by reflecting light from the display element (20) to the side opposite the display element (20); a sensing element (50) that forms a detection region in a spatial region that includes the aerial image, the sensing element (50) detecting an object in the detection region; and an illumination unit (61) that, if the object is present in the region of the aerial image, irradiates the object with light.
