Abstract:

Provided are an additive for a lithium secondary battery, an electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery, including same, and a lithium secondary battery, wherein the additive comprises a core and a shell surrounding the core, the core including a flame retardant, an extinguishing agent, a non-combustible material, or a combination thereof, and the shell including a polymer with a melting point ranging from 90℃ to 120℃.
