Abstract:
An adaptive variable wheel comprises: a tire; a wheel shaft installed in the center of the tire; a clutch installed on the wheel shaft; a hub plate installed on the boundary of the wheel shaft and selectively connected to the clutch; rigidity adjusting members installed at opposite ends of the wheel shaft for adjusting the rigidity of the tire; and a plurality of rigidity transfer link members provided on the outer circumference of the hub plate for connecting the rigidity adjusting members to the inner circumferential surface of the tire, and supporting the tire on the basis of the rigidity of the rigidity adjusting members. When the clutch is connected to the hub plate, the tire is rotated by the hub plate and the plurality of rigidity transfer link members, and when the clutch is separated from the hub plate, the rigidity of the rigidity adjusting members is adjusted.
