Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an actuator that can actively move a shaft in both directions without increasing the size of a device, and without increasing the cost. [Solution] A representative configuration of an actuator 100 according to the present invention is characterized in comprising two electromagnetic sections 106a, 106b arranged facing a shaft 10, where: each of the electromagnetic sections is provided with a coil 200, a movable iron core 210, and lock mechanisms 300a, 300b incorporated between the movable iron core and the shaft; and the lock mechanisms engage in the direction in which the movable iron core moves when the coil is excited, do not engage with the shaft in the direction in which the movable iron core returns when the coil is non-excited, and engage with the shaft in the direction in which the movable iron core of the other electromagnetic section returns when the coil is non-excited and the movable iron core is in the initial position.
