Abstract:
This actuator comprises: a drive mechanism; a driven member which extends in a first direction; a first lock mechanism which is configured so as to move the driven member in the first direction by locking said driven member when moving in the first direction by means of drive from the drive mechanism, and is also configured so as to release the lock on the driven member when moving in a second direction, which is the opposite direction to the first direction, in conjunction with the drive from the drive mechanism stopping; a second lock mechanism which is configured so as to lock the driven member that is about to move in the second direction and thus restricts movement of the driven member in the second direction; and a release mechanism which is configured so as to release the lock on the driven member by the first and the second lock mechanisms.
