Abstract:
In the field of pumps which control fluid by means of a gas generated by electrolysis of water, all available methods utilized either hydrogen or oxygen alone as the generated gas, resulting in poor efficiency. Compact pumps in particular demand high efficiency. Therefore, in the present invention, generated gases of hydrogen and oxygen are both utilized. As an electrode material to be used for electrolysis, a material that does not act as a catalyst for recombination of hydrogen and oxygen is used.
