Abstract:
An actuator for a brake device is disclosed. An actuator according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a housing having a motor accommodation part and a gear accommodation part; a motor accommodated in the motor accommodation part; and a speed-reducing device accommodated in the gear accommodation part, wherein the speed-reducing device comprises: a crossed helical gear speed-reducing part including a driving crossed helical gear coupled to the shaft of the motor, and a ring wheel having a driven crossed helical gear, provided at the outer periphery thereof, for engaging with the driving crossed helical gear; and a planetary gear speed-reducing part including a sun gear that rotates together with the ring wheel, a ring gear which is an internal gear, a plurality of planetary gears that engage with the sun gear and the ring gear, and a carrier by which the plurality of planetary gears are rotatably supported and which has an output shaft.
