Abstract:
An adhesive part (27) of an absorbent article (1) is provided to the surface of a back sheet (23) on the side opposite from the wearer side. A pair of vertical side boundary parts (203) are each a boundary part between a first portion (201) of an absorbent body (20) and a second portion (202) which is thinner than the first portion (201). The adhesive part (27) is constituted by a plurality of adhesive elements (271) which are disposed on the back sheet (23) in a manner avoiding the pair of vertical side boundary parts (203). The plurality of adhesive elements (271) include a plurality of first adhesive elements and a plurality of second adhesive elements. The plurality of first adhesive elements extend along one of the lengthwise direction and the widthwise direction of the first portion (201), and are arranged along the other of the lengthwise direction and the widthwise direction. The plurality of second adhesive elements extend along one of lengthwise direction and the widthwise direction in the second portion (202), and are arranged along the other of lengthwise direction and the widthwise direction. Thus, it is possible to suppress twisting of the adhesive elements (271) caused by the effects of a height difference at the vertical side boundary parts (203).
