Abstract:
To provide a slide member that causes a DLC layer to deform when it follows a substrate material to improve conformability and improve anti-seizure property with the improvement.SOLUTION: A slide member 10 includes: a bearing alloy layer 11; and a DLC layer 12 provided on a slide side of the bearing alloy layer 11 with respect to a mating member. The DLC layer 12 includes a layer body 21 and an origination part 22. The origination part 22 causes the layer body 21 to be separated apart from the bearing alloy layer while maintaining adhesion to the bearing alloy layer 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
