Abstract:
A pump device (10A) is provided with an impeller (14) and a housing (26). The housing (26) includes a fixed-side repulsion magnet (44) arranged in such a way as to encircle an internal space (32) inside an outer circumferential wall (40). The impeller (14) includes a movable-side repulsion magnet (76) forming a repulsion mechanism (84A) for generating a repulsive force between the movable-side repulsion magnet (76) and the fixed-side repulsion magnet (44). A dynamic pressure bearing (78) for generating dynamic pressure in a radial direction when the impeller (14) rotates is formed between a side circumferential surface (63) of the impeller (14) and an opposing surface (48a) of the housing (26).
