Abstract:
To protect an electronic control unit against scattering stones etc. in a more effective manner.SOLUTION: A power transmission device includes: a transmission mechanism which changes a speed of power transmitted from an engine mounted on a vehicle front part to an input member and transmits the power to an output member and in which each rotary shaft extends in a vehicle fore and aft direction; a transmission mechanism case which houses the transmission mechanism; and an electronic control unit which controls the transmission mechanism. At least a part of the transmission mechanism is located in a floor tunnel of a vehicle. The electronic control unit is fixed to an upper surface of the transmission mechanism case at a position overlapping with at least a part of the transmission mechanism when viewed from an area above the power transmission device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
